Description
The X Semi Vertical Rack creates an island with access to spaces from both sides. By storing bikes in a near upright position, semi vertical racks greatly reduce the footprint needed to park bikes in high volumes. The overlapping ‘X’ arrangement maximises space even further, storing two rows of bikes with a depth of just 1660mm.
Supplied in units of 6 spaces through to 40 spaces, semi vertical racks are free-standing and can be installed indoors or outdoors with minimal fixings.
In use
Each space is comprised of a galvanised steel channel with cut-outs to hold the wheels, and a robust locking point positioned to allow a d-lock to reach the bike frame. The channels are spaced at 305mm intervals, with alternating heights to allow handlebars to overlap. The width accommodates tyres up to 55mm.
To cater for less able bodied people or heavier bikes, we recommend providing Sheffield Stands or similar alongside this product.
