Description

Protective layers for flat roofs

Protect your flat roof waterproofing system with sustainable REGUPOL Resist structural protection products

Waterproofing flat roofs is a sensitive task. Even the slightest lack of care and attention can lead to damage and leaks. Locating such problem areas after work has been completed is not only difficult, but, if the worst comes to the worst, it can also be very costly.

REGUPOL Resist protects the sealing and insulation against mechanical damage and strongly mitigates thermal, chemical and UV-related effects, thus preventing premature ageing. REGUPOL Resist offers clear technical, physical and financial advantages over protective screeds or protective concrete.

Resist is a protective layer in accordance with DIN 18531ff, which we obtain from the upcycling of 95 percent recycled raw materials and have been doing so for over 65 years. Because we produce in Germany in an environmentally friendly and resource-saving way, we have been awarded the NRW Environmental Economy Prize in 2020 and the NRW Efficiency Prize in 2021.

The products are developed and intended for the application described here. Use of the product for other purposes may lead to safety issues.

All Variants are a prime example of a circular economy and upcycling.

They are all pressure-resistant, permanently elastic, resistant to microbes, temperature and ageing, vapour-permeable, rot-proof, largely resistant to acids and alkalis, and antistatic according to EN 1815.

PRODUCT VARIANTS

Resist Standard:

The introduction to REGUPOL resist protective layers – simply good

REGUPOL® Resist Standard rubber protection membrane protection layer according to DIN 18531, reliably provides and sustainably protects the waterproofing and insulation on flat roofs.

Resist standard sustainably and reliably protects the waterproofing and insulation of your flat roof against mechanical and thermal influences. Compared with protective screed or protective concrete, resist standard rubber protection membrane offers clear technical, physical and financial advantages.

The protective layer, consists of up to 95% PUR-bonded rubber granules from tyre retreading, based on recovered and recycled polymer raw materials.

Resist standard is thus a prime example of a circular economy and up-cycling.

Resist standard is available in sheet and roll format for the various project-specific features, making it easy and efficient to install.

It does not require any waiting time for further roofing work and is suitable not only for flat roofs and green roofs, but also for balconies and terraces.

Resist Alu:

No plasticiser migration thanks to aluminium lamination

REGUPOL Resist Alu protection layer according to DIN 18531, save the waterproofing on flat roofs. Its underside is laminated with a Triplex aluminium foil to prevent plasticiser migration. Applicable on all usual in trade flat-roof-waterproofing-systems.

Resist Alu protects the waterproofing and insulation of your flat roof sustainably and reliably against mechanical, thermal and chemical influences.

Resist Alu is also equipped with an aluminium triplex foil on the underside. This foil prevents plasticiser migration with non-rubber compatible waterproofing systems.

Resist Alu is a protective layer according to DIN 18531 and the Flat Roof Guidelines, and is compatible with all commercially available building and flat roof waterproofing systems.

Compared with protective screed or protective concrete, Resist offers clear technical, physical and financial advantages. It is available in sheet and roll format for different project-specific features, making it easy and efficient to install.

Resist Alu does not require any waiting time for further roof construction and is suitable not only for flat roofs and green roofs, but also for balconies and terraces.

Resist Alu consists of up to 95 percent PUR-bonded rubber granules from tyre retreading, based on recovered and recycled polymer raw materials, and is thus a prime example of a circular economy and upcycling.

Resist Fire:

A hard roof cladding

REGUPOL resist fire protection layer according to DIN 18531, has a flame retardant finish that protects against flying sparks and radiant heat and from a thickness of 8 mm is classified as a so-called "hard roof", according to DIN CEN/TS 1187:2012-03.

Resist Fire sustainably and reliably protects the waterproofing and insulation of your flat roof against mechanical, thermal and chemical influences. The protective layer, which complies with DIN 18531 and the Flat Roof Guideline, consists of up to 95 percent PUR-bonded rubber granules from tyre retreading, based on recovered and recycled polymer raw materials.

It is also flame-retardant and has a General Building Authority Test Certificate for fire class Broof(T1) – resistant to flying sparks and radiant heat – and is therefore in itself a so-called "hard roofing." As a result, REGUPOL Resist Fire reduces the fire load on the flat roof and gives processors and builders considerably more safety.

It is available in sheet and roll format for different project-specific features, making it easy and efficient to install.

Resist Fire does not require any waiting time for further roofing work and is suitable not only for flat roofs and green roofs, but also for balconies and terraces.

Resist Alu Fire:

Doubly safe – flame retardant and migration-free

REGUPOL Resist Alu Fire protection layer according to DIN 18531 and resistant towards flying sparks and radiating heat, has a flame-retardant finish and from a thickness of 8 mm is classified as a so-called "hard roof". The Triplex aluminum foil lamination on the underside avoid plasticiser migration.

Resist Alu Fire protects the waterproofing and insulation of your flat roof sustainably and reliably against mechanical and thermal influences.

It is laminated on the underside with an aluminium triplex foil and equipped with a flame retardant finish. The aluminium triplex foil prevents plasticiser migration between non-rubber compatible waterproofing systems and the protective layer.

Resist Alu Fire has a General Building Authority Test Certificate for its flame-retardant properties, which rates it as fire class Broof(T1) – resistant to flying sparks and radiant heat. It is therefore in itself already a so-called "hard roofing."

As a result, REGUPOL Resist Alu Fire provides processors and builders with additional safety by reducing the fire load on flat roofs.

As a protective layer according to DIN 18531 and the Flat Roof Guidelines, Resist Alu Fire offers clear technical, physical and financial advantages over protective screeds or protective concrete.

It is available in sheet and roll format for different project-specific requirements, making it easy and efficient to install.

Resist Alu Fire does not require any waiting time for further roofing work and is very suitable not only for flat roofs and green roofs, but also for balconies and terraces.

It is pressure-resistant, permanently elastic, resistant to microbes, ageing and temperature, vapour-permeable, rot-proof and antistatic according to EN 1815. The material consists of up to 95 percent PUR-bonded rubber granules from tyre retreading, based on recovered and recycled polymer raw materials.

Resist Alu Fire is thus a prime example of a circular economy and upcycling.
