Application
  • v-Screed is mixed with OPC (Ordinary Portland Cement), water and reinforcement fibres where required for use in bonded, unbonded and floating screed applications. The additive is also suitable for use in screeds designed to retain underfloor heating systems.
  • v-Screed (Standard Mix) is suitable for all commercial and domestic applications in accordance with BS 8204.
  • v-Screed (Heavy Duty Mix) is recommended in areas subject to very heavy traffic or those receiving resin floor finishes.

Description

v-Screed is a water-soluble powder admixture used to increase the strength, accelerate the drying time and reduce the moisture content of traditional sand and cement site batched screeds between 15.0—100.0 mm.


Features and benefits:

  • BS 8204-1 Surface Regularity – SR2.
  • Suitable to achieve Category A, B & C screeds.
  • Full cure - allow 7 days per 25.0 mm screed thickness, in good drying conditions, from removal of the curing polythene sheet to dry.
  • Light foot traffic in 24 hours
  • Apply bonded (> 15.0 mm), unbonded (> 40.0 mm) and floating (> 65.0 mm).
  • Suitable for use with underfloor heating systems.
  • Convenient water-soluble sachet.
