Description
Stainless steel, roll-formed, straight edge ESS is suitable for higher stress commercial and industrial installations.
It comes in two grades: 1.4301 (304) and Contract Grade 1.4401 (316). The latter is a harder grade of stainless steel, sutable for areas where a high degree of hygiene is required. Offers high chemical resistance.
A formable stainless steel profile provides a solution to the problem of protecting edges of the floor finishes in curved areas. The stainless steel profile has been roll-formed making the profile shape slightly different to that of the extruded aluminium and brass.
In forming the profile the stainless steel is rolled at the top to give the profile additional strength which makes it suitable for using in areas where mechanical stresses or load bearing is anticipated. Can be used in commercial and industrial installations due to its chemical resistance properties.
