Description

The RB1X Buffer is a spring steel post which is available with a combination of various beam profiles and post thicknesses. This allows it to be used in all types of applications, making it very cost effective.


By reducing post centres, deflection can be contained within the barrier area of RB1X Flexible Spring Steel Buffers for an economic footprint.


In order to spread the impact load on the buffer over a wider surface, a base plate can be used to avoid damage to the substrate and to assist in levelling the buffer installation on uneven surfaces.


Features and benefits:

  • Reduced installation time: The single anchor fixing method is beneficial in reducing drilling time (HAVS) and decreasing time on site.
  • Lightweight: The spring steel posts are lightweight and easily maneuvered into position for installation. The design also means the barrier system absorbs the impact load and reduces the tension transferred into the slab.
