CVB/P10 is a bonded composite, comprising a central 10 kg/m² polymeric membrane with high density mineral wool either side. As standard, the mineral wool is faced on the exposed surfaces with a reinforced aluminium foil. Additionally, CVB/P10 is supplied with opposing interlocking rebate joints in one direction. This feature helps maintain acoustic integrity at joints within the barrier.

Additionally, it is more compressible in the plane of the barrier assisting, friction and compression fitting and aiding deformation around surface penetrations.
