The University of Leeds has nine different
faculties all of which are divided into
school, institutes and centres. The
campus which amounts to more than 40
hectares currently consists of 39 buildings
- a huge area frequented day in and
day out which has to be monitored and
managed around the clock.
The digital locking and access control system 3060
from SimonsVoss meets the requirements set by the
university. Mechanical locks were replaced with 3,000
electronic cylinders to manage access for 13,000 users.
