Sterling Compact installed in DPL Group's Head Office

OVERVIEW

Marshall-Tufflex, the UK’s leading cable management manufacturer, is reinforcing its commitment to sustainability with the installation of its innovative Sterling Compact trunking at DPL Group’s newly constructed head office in Ipswich.

DPL Group, provide electrical design, installation and maintenance services across Suffolk, Norfolk, Essex, and Cambridgeshire and the new two-story headquarters is part of their ongoing success and growth plans for the business.

The project includes a ground-floor storage area and luxurious first floor glass-walled offices with an open-plan layout. A high-quality dado trunking system was required to manage the power and data services throughout the office space, and Marshall-Tufflex’s Sterling Compact was deemed the perfect solution.

Sterling Compact is a stylish and economical three-compartment trunking system ideal for modern workplaces. Manufactured using 54% recycled material, it aligns with today’s sustainability demands whilst offering a sleek and practical design. The system provides efficient cable segregation, ensuring optimal organisation and accessibility for electrical and data installations. Moreover, the range features adjustable internal and external bends to ease installation into corners that aren’t perfectly square.

Gary Dinsdale, Managing Director of DPL Group, commented on the installation: “Marshall-Tufflex is our go-to for dado trunking as we know it will be good quality. The fact that they use recycled material in their manufacturing is a bonus. Using recycled products is great for our business, and anything we can do to reduce our carbon footprint is much appreciated.”

Sustainability has been at the heart of Marshall-Tufflex’s manufacturing for over 30 years. They are committed to increasing the use of recycled material, with a goal for all PVC-U products installed in buildings to be made from at least 50% recycled material by 2028.

The installation of Sterling Compact trunking at DPL Group’s head office reinforces the company’s reputation as a reliable and environmentally responsible choice for modern electrical projects.
