OVERVIEW
In the heart of Blyth’s impressive harbour development, The Commissioners Quay Inn sought out a soundproofing solution, to improve the noise quality within the rooms. Allowing customers enjoy a better night’s sleep, as noise was able to spread to the rooms above.
Upon being called from main contractor Bowmer & Kirkland, we won tender to supply 1,358 m2 of 50mm FFT3 Soundis Acoustic Battens including 10mm Soundis Rubber Acoustic Resilient Layer. To reach required Part E of Building Regulations, but also to improve noise quality and allow for creating a void for any under floor applications, such as cables.
