OVERVIEW

City of London office rooftop garden features extensive timber decking.

33 King William Street is a landmark City of London office development delivering 227,000 sq ft of workspace, topped by a quarter-acre rooftop garden with panoramic views across London’s skyline, including St Paul’s Cathedral, the Shard and the River Thames.

The Outdoor Deck Company were commissioned to install high grade FSC Iroko timber decking across the large roof terrace, creating a generous relaxation space for office workers.

Decking and paving were installed on the Buzon pedestal support system, with integrated anti-slip strips to provide a safe, slip resistant surface throughout. Curved transitions between paving and decking soften the overall layout and guide movement through the gardens, while Iroko entrance steps and risers also incorporate slip resistant detailing.
