The design of the RNLI Station at Bridlington needed to mix practicalities with aesthetics as it stands in a prime location on the Spa Promenade. Echoing Art Deco lines, building materials were chosen for both design impact and durability. With this in mind a stainless steel rainwater system from Yeoman Rainguard was chosen, 145 x 165mm box gutters and 80mm dia. downpipes were fitted complementing the sleek linear appearance of the lifeboat house. Stainless steel is a robust material which offers many years of maintenance free service, a corrosion resistant and a cost effective sustainable product.
