Old Street Station

As part of the major 2024 Old Street transformation led by Weston Williamson + Partners and WSP, Metador supplied bespoke Defender Safeguard steel doors to complement the redesigned clerestory building and refuse store. These doors were engineered to accommodate vertical ceramic battens and integrate seamlessly with the black steel skirt, ensuring durability, public safety, and visual consistency. Metador’s solution included custom supports, angled skirts, and low-maintenance fittings, delivered to exacting standards through close client collaboration.
