Newton Aycliffe Rail Facility
OVERVIEW
Lionweld Kennedy supplied open mesh flooring, handrails, stairs and removeable chains to the Hitachi Rail Facility in Aycliffe Industrial Estate.
We supplied three 250 metre long inspection walkways and eighteen 27 metre long access platforms around their 460,000 sq ft factory.
Hitatchi have been involved in the HS2 development, designing, building and delivering a fleet of bespoke high speed trains.
Their new installation helps the team to be proactive with their work, ensuring their health and safety at all times with ball-proof grating.
