New Build Detached Houses Whalley, Lancashire. (Soundsure 560 | 5.6mm Underscreed Resilient Layer)

Soundsure 560 was laid over concrete blocks (1350 kg/m3 from Lynx Precast), installed as an acoustic resilient layer below insulation, underfloor heating pipework and 75mm sand / cement screed. Installed in first floor areas of all 8 houses.

Soundsure 560 was overlaid with 30mm insulation, a waterproof membrane, and underfloor heating pipes clipped into place. A 75mm sand / cement screed was then laid above. Soundsure 560 was lapped up all perimeter edges, ensuring that the insulation and screed were isolated from the main structure, providing maximum acoustic performance
