Popular Trex Transcend® shade Island Mist was used to design a completely new area for homeowners in Woodhouse Eaves, Leicestershire.  

The inspiration

AMS Garden Services provided a complete transformation of this garden area, complete with a bespoke seating area made especially with Trex as well as stairs and built-in planters.

The detail 

Trex composite decking was used throughout this project in popular shade Island Mist, including for stairs and bespoke seating. Island Mist was the perfect choice for this impressive deck – which measures at 5 x 14 m² - to provide a bright and clean contrast to the surrounding greenery of the plants and grass. 

The clever design of the bespoke seating area provides a cosy area closed off from the rest of the decking, for a quiet space away from any other activities – perfect for pure relaxation. This is further supported by the change of direction in the decking panels, as it creates the feeling of another ‘room’ or different space to enter into.

By using the same Trex materials to build the seating, AMS Garden Services has created a seamless look and modern design which naturally flows into the rest of the decking floor. 

The full effect

Despite this deck’s impressive size, AMS Garden Services managed to create intimate areas within this, with multiple seating areas and the integration of plants to have a feel of bringing the outside-in.
