OVERVIEW
Situated in over forty acres, Crosfields is a co-educational school with pupils between the ages of 3 and 16. An exceptionally friendly school, Crosfields emphasises manners, kindness and good behaviour.
The School’s car park was in need of a lighting upgrade and the process began to identify the ideal LED solutions that could meet Crosfield’s lighting requirements of reliability, quality and efficiency.
The car park at the school is expansive so a mix of bollards and streetlights were needed to be able to cover the whole car park area. Ansell’s Taurus LED and Onix LED Streetlight were both identified as great solutions that could go above and beyond Crosfields School’s expectations. Both products were installed in the car park area and the school immediately started to see the benefits.
The Taurus LED is a robust die-cast aluminium bollard with a textured graphite finish. The Non-Dimmable bollard features a die-cast aluminium head with polycarbonate lens and has a comparable performance to 70W HQI. Its reliability is backed up with an impressive LED lifespan of L70 50,000 hours and comes with a root mounting kit. Ansell’s Onix LED Street Light was also identified as an ideal solution to the school’s lighting needs. The Onix features a die-cast aluminium construction for optimal heat dissipation which allows for optimal performance. The streetlight comes with a built-in anti-tamper isolation facility and is compatible with post top or side entry utility 76mm spigot.
