In February 2013 TRC was approached by Julian Harrap Architects to undertake refurbishment of the second-floor windows, due to our previous project success. Our work at Cliveden was equally well-received, and we were commissioned to refurbish all the remaining windows and doors.
The three-year project encompassed the full restoration of 300 sash windows, casement windows and French doors, including:
stripping existing paintwork
timber repairs and splicing
re-glazing with historic hand-made blown glass
fitting a fully-rebated fraught proofing system
supplying and installing bespoke ironmongery
full painting inside and out.
