Fir view is a new-build luxury eco-house set in a wooded area on the Devon Dorset border. Architects Mark Camillin and Liam Denny had a vision for a contemporary design that blended sympathetically with the area of natural beauty within which the plot is set. Getting the exterior facade right was of great importance to them and the authorities and all parties settled on cedar cladding as the ideal option. Mark and Liam decided on vertical halflap cladding and selected our air dried Canadian cedar cladding because of the lack of knots and stability.
