CASE STUDY - SPACEPRO CONTRACT WORKING IN PARNTERSHIP WITH PLACES FOR PEOPLE AND BALFOUR BEATTY
OVERVIEW
We’ve just completed the first phase of an exciting new mixed tenure apartment scheme for a developer in East London. As well as creating a strong residential community of more than 1,800 new homes, the scheme will also bring new businesses, schools and green spaces to the area.
PROJECT DETAILS
Our client required bespoke, fitted wardrobes with full interior carcass to be installed in all apartments. A combination of hinged, 2 and 3 door options were specified with all exterior panels finished in high-gloss lacquer. Inside the wardrobe, interior panels were finished in colour matched laminate.
We developed a product that is both functional and aesthetic, whilst dealing with the logistical challenges of distributing and installing large panelled products into a complex, high-rise building. Standing 2.5m high, scribed floor-to-ceiling and designed to be rapidly assembled and installed by our teams on site, we fitted over 400 wardrobes in under 6 months and ahead of our planned program.
