The Grain Store was transformed with Brimstone cladding and joinery.
The renovation of an old grain store at the Sylva Centre provides a vast new workspace for woodworking businesses and skills training.
The front elevation is clad in Brimstone, Vastern Timber’s innovative range of thermally modified British hardwoods, made of poplar, ash and sycamore.
This is the first commercial project incorporating Brimstone joinery. Windows & doors made of Brimstone Ash were produced by George Barnsdale.
Vastern Timber's aim to promote under- utilised British timber aligns perfectly with the Sylva Centre goal of ‘helping trees and people grow together’.
