Manhattan apartments transformed with high performance steel windows that replicate originals

OVERVIEW

520 East 86th Street is a red brick façade, limestone base building, erected in 1927 and located in the Yorkville section of Manhattan. The shareholders, together with Main Contractor Skyline Windows, chose the Clement EB24 window system to replicate the existing windows. The key factors were Clement’s product quality and ability to replicate the look of the original historic windows, whilst incorporating the latest window technology. As an alternative to a more typical Georgian bar design, Clement suggested a bespoke detail exclusively for this project which replicated the exact detailing found on the original windows.
