OVERVIEW
Studley Castle is an exquisite hotel with over 180 years of history in the heart of rural Warwickshire. Built in 1834 in the Gothic Revival style, this project aimed to maintain a modern outlook. A renovation of the castle was carried out, costing £50 million; this 4,200m² restoration development is now a luxurious 200-room hotel castle blending the modern with the original ancient facades.
Cellecta ScreedBoard 28 was specified by PWP Architects in this luxury refurbishment to improve upon its existing acoustic properties. It's high density, and unique resilient layer provides unrivalled acoustic performance, typically 5dB better than legislative requirements.
Rob Gould was awarded the contract to maintain and convert the iconic castle in Studley.
