OVERVIEW
THE BRIEF
Full regeneration project
Langley Design worked with Ground Control on part of the regeneration project for the former Longbridge car plant site in Birmingham. Longbridge is one of the largest and most significant regeneration schemes in the UK, a long-term £1 billion initiative to breathe new life into one of Britain’s most famous industrial areas.
This scheme has produced shops, offices, new homes, a hotel and a college constructed alongside a park, helping a new community in south Birmingham to rapidly take shape.
WHAT WE DID
New seating solutions
Langley Design were tasked with providing the town’s new seating solutions. We manufactured and installed a range of benches and seats all in hardwood iroko and galvanised powder-coated steel to complement the newly landscaped area.
THE RESULT
Bespoke manufacturer
Our circular bench was specifically chosen to be placed around the town’s freshly planted trees, as a bespoke manufacturer we are able to provide solutions in a range of dimensions and with additional extras such as arm rests, backrests and anti-skate studs when needed.
