An outdoor lifestyle

OVERVIEW

This striking deck by Composite Decking Lifestyles uses Trex® composite decking to create a space as stylish as it is practical for the homeowner’s social lifestyle.

The inspiration:

Composite Decking Lifestyles’ Carl Boreham was chosen to create an outdoor space which was both aesthetically appealing and practical for the homeowner to host regular social events outside.

The detail:

In order to create a stylish, modern deck, Composite Decking Lifestyles installed Trex Transcend® Gravel Path boards with a Trex Transcend® Island Mist border. The use of lighting not only added the finishing touch to the overall look of the deck, it also provided an added safety element for users.

Complementing the carefully-selected Trex board colours, Composite Decking Lifestyles also created and installed bespoke timber bars with integrated electrical sockets, USB points, Bluetooth speakers and heating.

The full effect:

The deck – which cleverly uses both traditional timber and modern Trex composite decking boards – was built using the Trex Hideaway® Secret Fixing System for a space which doesn’t compromise aesthetics for practicality. The finished result is a stylish deck which provides the homeowner with the ideal space to host outdoor social events.
