ITP's membrane chosen for another landmark on London's Skyline.

ITP is continuing to expand the presence of its products on London’s ever-evolving skyline following the specification of the company’s FlameOUT Breathe breather membrane at One Thames City, the capital’s latest landmark residential development.

Developer R&F Properties is transforming the former industrial site at Nine Elms into a prestigious, Manhattan-style development on the south bank of the River Thames. Designed by Skidmore Owings & Merrill LLP, One Thames City represents one of the city’s most desirable new addresses, offering a stunning combination of beautiful apartments, a waterside location with far-reaching views over London and private luxury amenities alongside high-end retail and dining experiences.

Located at the eastern end of a spectacular linear park that stretches all the way to Battersea Power Station, apartments at One Thames City overlook their own private podium gardens as well as the opposing Thames riverbank. Residents have access to a VIP drop-off area and reception room, private dining facilities and cinema. Wellness facilities include a 30m swimming pool, gym and luxury spa.

FlameOut breathe was supplied via façade specialists, Dane Architectural, on behalf of contractors Mace Ltd in the construction of one of the buildings at One Thames City.

The membrane’s advanced performance provides high water vapour permeability to control condensation within the building’s interior and prevent moisture from reaching the insulation layer. Also offering excellent water repellence, its breathable, non-woven fabric has self-extinguishing, flame-retardant properties independently tested to EN 13501-1. FlameOUT Breathe’s Euroclass B,s1-d0 fire safety rating is compliant with Building Regulations.
