Binns Canada IWA14-1 Bridge Rail

The IWA14-1 Bridge Rail (model EAG080-30BR) is the latest addition to Binns’ portfolio of impact rated street furniture products. Tested with a super-shallow foundation of just 50mm, with no anchor fixings specifically for bridge deck applications, this product has far wider potential and also meets our secure before impact (SBI) criteria.

Foundation depth: 163mm (comprising 50mm concrete, 50mm sand, 63mm surface finish)

Diameter: Bollards 194mm o/d

Area: Min 5no. bollards, total 1,800mm x 15,200mm (includes maximum 4100mm foundation span)

Span: Tested at 5380mm clear opening, 4100mm clear between foundations (+/-75mm)

Expansion: 150mm once installed

Operation: Lightweight removable beam(s), may require mechanical assistance

Design: Horizontal beams can be fitted with bespoke fretwork to suit local streetscape architecture.
