The naming used in this file can be used in any BIM authoring environment for consistency. It is provided in Autodesk® Revit® TXT format, which is a tab-separated format that can be reviewed easily in tools such as Microsoft Excel.

Using these templates as a starting point eliminates the need to load each shared parameter individually and the need to manually sort them into the correct group.
Family templates are provided for generic, face-based, floor-based, line-based, wall-based, ceiling-based and roof-based objects. A project template is also provided with preloaded IFC Psets.
