Description

UV protected glass reinforced polyester (GRP) sheeting with a gel coated surface which has been chemically cross bonded to the sheet.

Features and benefits:

  • No delamination is possible.
  • Retains light transmission, strength, and flexibility throughout the lifetime of the sheet.
  • Will not lose its tensile strength or become brittle (as happens with film surface coated and polycarbonate materials).
  • The highly UV resistant resins provide a high level of protection.
  • Low levels of surface erosion.
  • Chemically resistant.
  • The gel coated sheet surface becomes an almost impenetrable barrier.
  • Provides hail resistance.
  • Smooth, glossy surface.
  • SL, SR76 fire retardant.
  • Available with a wide range of profile types.
  • Available with Ampelite’s FS Firecheck fire resistant system - consult manufacturer for details.
