KMEW was created as a subsidiary joint venture between two Japanese industry titans, Panasonic and Kubota Corporations. The CERACLAD Rainscreen Fiber Cement Siding System has a proven track record of performance nearing 40 years in Japan. Extensive research and technological advancement led to the development of the company's proprietary Photocatalytic Ceramic Coating which provides superior color retention and self-cleaning performance which eliminate costly maintenance.

With our humble beginnings in North America in 2002, we began our journey providing attractive, high performance siding systems designed for sustainable buildings and a healthy living environment. The first project in West Seattle introduced our cladding solutions to the market and still stands today as a testament to the superior quality and performance of the CERACLAD Rainscreen Siding Systems.
