Lexan polycarbonate resin delivers high impact strength, an excellent balance of low weight and high stiffness and naturally very clear transparency. Lexan Thermoclear allows for a multitude of applications including roofing, wall cladding, glazing and partitioning. The sheeting is suitable for use in vertical, sloped or curved scenarios. It blocks 99.9% of harmful UV radiation. Both sides of the sheeting feature UV protection giving superior resistance to outdoor weathering and greater design flexibility. It is also suitable for use in bushfire prone zones BALs 19 and below. It is flame resistant, self extinguishing, stops the spread of flame and develops minimal smoke.
