Solvent-borne intumescent coating system.
Application
Suitable as an intumescent fire protection for structural steel in interior and exterior conditions, up to Type X (EAD350402-00-1106) and C4 conditions (ISO 12944-2). Applicable for use on I-section beams, H columns, hollow sections and cellular beams. Can also be used as a repair and touch-up coating for damaged areas of freshly applied Hempacore One.

- 1st coat: Hempadur Fast Dry 17410. DFT: 75 microns.
- 2nd coat: Hempacore One 43600. DFT: Dependant on steel loadings.
- 3rd coat: Hempathane HS 55613 Gloss or Hempathane HS 55610 Semi-Gloss. DFT: 100 microns.
External Structural Steel (C2–C3)
- 1st coat: Hempadur Fast Dry 17410. DFT: 75 microns.
- 2nd coat: Hempacore One 43600. DFT: Dependant on steel loadings.
- 3rd coat: Hempathane HS 55613 Gloss or Hempathane HS 55610 Semi-Gloss. DFT: 100 microns.
External Structural Steel (C4)
- 1st coat: Hempadur Avantguard 750. DFT: 75 microns.
- 2nd coat: Hempacore One 43600. DFT: Dependant on steel loadings.
- 3rd coat: Hempathane HS 55613 Gloss or Hempathane HS 55610 Semi-Gloss. DFT: 100 microns.
Description
Hempacore One 43600 is a single component, solvent-borne intumescent coating system designed to reduce complexity in application and specification. It is applicable for a wide range of fire durations from 30 to 180 mins (optimized for 90 mins). Approved and third party certified according to EN 13381-8, BS-476 20/21, GOST 5329-5 and GB 14907:2018.
