LoCem® Modular Anode Unit (MAU) - Corrosion Protection for New Infrastructure

Technical Product Sheet for the The LoCem® Modular Anode Unit (MAU). The MAU is manufactured using industrial waste streams repurposed as a low carbon geopolymer mortar and formed in moulds as a “plug & play” component. Complete with integrated connections for push-fit directly to steel reinforcement during construction, whether in the precast factory or in-situ. The main aim of the MAU is to provide cathodic prevention for newly built infrastructure, meaning the internal steel frame is protected from corrosion from day one of construction.
