Contour® Free-Standing is a lightweight aluminium louvre support system designed for rooftop plant screening and ventilation applications, providing a robust, self-supporting structure where direct façade fixing is not possible.

BLADE CONSTRUCTION

Blade selection determines airflow performance, weather resistance and visual screening characteristics

Blade spans typically up to 3m depending on system configuration

Compatible with 140mm pitch louvre blades, including inverted configurations for effective ground-level screening

Louvre blades fixed via aluminium blade clips to mullions

Allows flexibility in specification depending on project performance requirements

VERTICAL SUPPORT CONSTRUCTION

Vertical posts and mullions manufactured from Aluminium 6063 T6

Vertical support fixing centres typically 1000mm

Integrated horizontal rails provide additional structural stability

Designed to accommodate structural loads, tolerances and long-span requirements

Provides concealed and robust support system for louvre blade installation

Combination of aluminium and steel components provides structural integrity and long-term durability

BRACKET CONSTRUCTION

Base plates and posts manufactured from galvanised mild steel (S275 or similar)

Brackets typically spaced at approximately 3m centres for optimal support

Designed to secure posts and mullions to the building sub-frame or primary structure

Cleats bespoke to suit project-specific fixing requirements

Allows adjustment to accommodate installation tolerances

Suitable for fixing to concrete or structural steelwork

Aluminium mullions polyester powder coated to 60 microns or anodised to 25 microns

Steel posts and components typically hot-dip galvanised, with optional polyester powder coating

Colour to match or complement louvre blade finish

BRACKET FINISH

Typically hot-dip galvanised mild steel for corrosion protection

Polyester powder coating (60 microns) available where exposed or for aesthetic coordination
