Applikation

ARDEX DPM 1 C One Coat Damp Proof Membrane application areas:

Suitable for use on cement/sand screeds containing water based under floor heating systems.
Specifically developed to provide either a damp proof membrane, or to suppress residual moisture in concrete slabs and cement/sand screeds which are well compacted and sound, where readings of up to 98% RH are measured.
Can be used as a damp proof membrane that deals with damp concrete where a structural damp proof membrane is not present or is ineffective, with the risk of ground bearing moisture.
A thinner application may be used to suppress residual moisture in concrete slabs and cement/sand screeds which are well compacted and sound, where readings of up to 92% RH are measured.
Suitable for use on Calcium Sulphate screeds up to 90% RH. The surface temperature should not exceed 27°C in accordance with BS 8203 and BS 5325.

Beskrivning

A one coat system to suppress residual moisture in lightly shot blasted power floated concrete sub-floors and dense cement and sand screeds. It provides a surface damp proof membrane (DPM) where a DPM is not present in the floor or it is not effective.

Thickness of application:

Minimum 250—350 microns, as appropriate, to be checked using an ARDEX wet film thickness gauge.
Coverage of 1.8 m²/kg (350 microns)—2.5 m²/kg (250 microns) is not to be exceeded.
