Adjustable Pedestal for Paving or Decking - MetalPad EX - Decking and paving pedestal

Non-combustible, fully adjustable, Class A pedestal specially designed for high-rise balconies and terraces.

MetalPad EX is available as both a fixed head or self-levelling pedestal for paving. They will support paving systems on pedestrian areas including balconies, roofs, podiums and terraces.

Additional spreader plates 185mm diameter available to connect to baseplates to diffuse weight across a larger surface area for vulnerable sub-decks.

For decking and terrace substructure construction, a specially designed headpiece connector to fit a 60mm wide rail onto the pedestals head is available.

A further rail-to-rail connector is available to build multi-layer rails to meet large height requirements.

These aluminium clip connectors click onto rails quickly and easily to create a strong substructure system.

The pedestals are covered in a Zintec 200 coating to ensure long-term protection from outdoor exposure and have drainage holes to allow water to drain freely and prevent ponding. These holes can also be used as anchoring points should installers wish to mechanically fix the pedestals into the sub-surface onto a rail as part of the rail substructure system.
