Applikation

The Metal Door Fire Rated Access Panel is for use as an access panel, for application into plasterboard walls and ceilings from 8–32 mm thickness, including double boards. Will fit into the structural membrane of a joint-less plasterboard wall and ceiling system.

Designed for inspection purposes in areas where regular maintenance to services is required, rather than personnel access - consult manufacturer for details.

This access panel is not acoustic, air pressure or smoke tested.

Beskrivning

The One Hour Fire Rated Access Panel with Metal Door - Metal Door Fire Rated Access Panel is a one hour fire rated FlipFix wall or ceiling access panel that has a metal faced door and can be installed in as little as three minutes. It is designed to fit straight into a pre-cut hole using the pop out cutting template that is provided.

The access panel has a 20 mm picture frame for retrofit and is supplied with a flush lock and tee key as standard.

The access panel is one hour fire rated as standard. Suitable for building services, concealed flues, ducts and chimney systems. Suited for Part J Building Regs.

These panels are designed for inspection purposes only and are not suitable for personal access, the panel is 1-hour fire rated as standard in accordance with BS 476: Part 22:1987.

Meets a minimum requirement of FR-30 and FR-60 Specification.

Easy to install, with no need for a timber surround to screw into - the FlipFix device clamps directly up to the rear of the plasterboard, and the panel fits into a pre-cut hole (to be cut 5 mm larger than panel size with the pop-out cutting template provided).
The door is supplied with a flush lock and tee key as standard (note 900 x 600 mm and 1200 x 600 mm panels are supplied with a budget lock).
Includes a fully removable door.
Fire rated to one hour.
Seamless picture frame edging.
Tested in accordance with BS EN 1634-1: 2014.

The FlipFix device covers all plasterboard from 8—32 mm so can be used on double board.
