Sika at Work: Gwynfaen, Penyrheol

A new housing development, developed by Pobl Group and constructed by Hale Construction, comprises 144 one bed flats and two, three and four-bedroom contemporary homes that have been designed with a low carbon and ‘fabric first’ approach to help reduce energy consumption for the residents. Using mainly manufactured off-site modern methods of construction, the insulated timber framed wall and roof panels were assembled off site, with the facades finished with either Welsh sourced timber cladding or Sika’s Parex® REVLANE+ IGNIFUGE TG external render.
