Gypsol Solida heated screed system

GYPSOL - LKAB

The heating system is coupled with energy efficient heat sources such as condensing gas boiler systems or renewable heat technologies such as air or ground source heat pumps which may be more appropriate to higher code and carbon neutral developments.

Features and benefits:

  • The use of Gypsol based screeds over the underfloor heating systems reduces the operating costs of the heating system. Tests using efficient and correctly designed underfloor heating systems have shown that using anhydrite screeds can improve the co-efficient of performance of an underfloor heating system by up to 25%.
  • Additionally flow temperatures can be reduced by some 40– 50ºC compared to the temperatures required for radiator systems or some 10– 15ºC compared to underfloor heating systems in traditional sand cement screeds. This adds to the desirability, helps justify a higher selling price and also helps the builder to achieve higher code levels where required and to gain extra code credits in coded sustainable developments.
  • Smaller house footprint means reduced build costs.
  • Smaller footprint means potentially higher housing density of up to 10%, thus increasing a site’s profitability.
  • Smaller footprints mean greater opportunities for incorporating open spaces in developments making them more desirable.

Privacy Screen

BASF - MasterTop 1325

A 1–4 mm thick self-smoothing elastomeric polyurethane flooring system provides a tough and scratch resistant finish which is resilient with an ergonomically warm, comfortable feel.

It is a seamless floor without joints or welds even around columns and over large open areas.

  • Body coat: MasterTop BC375N.

Slip resistance:

Ucrete IF is a unique 9 mm thick heavy duty polyurethane resin floor which provides an extremely tough surface for environments subject to extreme impact and abrasion.

Its dense and impervious iron armoured surface provides protection against severe abrasion making it the ideal floor finish for industrial applications.

Chemical resistance:

The heavy duty floor offers exceptional resistance to a wide range of chemical aggressors including:

  • Most dilute and concentrated organic acids such as, acetic acid, lactic acid, oleic acid and citric acid as commonly found in the food industry.
  • Dilute mineral acids: hydrochloric, nitric, phosphoric and sulphuric.
  • Dilute and concentrated alkalis, including sodium hydroxide to 50% concentration.

MasterTop 1327 incorporates a 2–4 mm thick self-smoothing elastomeric polyurethane flooring system installed on to a very elastic 4 mm thick resin comfort underlayment.

The system removes the need to use rubber crumb mats to achieve high comfort levels and sound absorption properties in ergonomic resin flooring systems.

It provides a tough and scratch resistant finish with an ergonomically warm, comfortable feel and a high degree of energy absorption. It is a seamless floor without joints or welds even around columns and over large open areas.

System components:

  • Primer (and optional scratch primer): MasterTop P 617.
  • Elastioc underlayment: MasterTop BC 329.
  • Bodycoat: MasterTop BC 325N, MasterTop BC 375N or MasterTop BS 361N.
  • Topcoat: MasterTop TC 407W (pigmented. Clear finish is available only with MasterTop BC 361N).

A 1–4 mm thick self-smoothing resilient polyurethane flooring system provides a tough scratch resistant floor finish suitable for use on substrates subject to vibration and dynamic forces.

It is a seamless floor without joints or welds even around columns and over large open areas. Whilst being robust enough for industrial applications, the fully light stable topcoat enables light colours to be used in bright commercial and retail environments. Optional coloured flake scatter and a clear seal may be applied to produce a variety of aesthetic effects.

System components:

  • Primer: MasterTop P617 with F5 filler.
  • Body coat: MasterTop BC375N.
  • Top coat: MasterTop TC442W or MasterTop TC417W.

Slip resistance:

BASF - Ucrete DP

Ucrete DP is a heavy duty polyurethane screed with exceptional resistance to oils, aggressive chemicals, heavy impact and temperatures up to 120°C. The system offers uniformity of surface texture with a selection of colours, to provide a safe and attractive finish in wet and dry environments. The screed surface is dense and impervious.

With three defined surface profiles and three thickness specifications available, the screed is designed to meet a wide range of service and temperature requirements.

Chemical resistance:

The screed offers exceptional resistance to a wide range of chemical aggressors including:

  • Acetic acid, concentrated lactic acid, oleic acid and concentrated citric acid as commonly found in industry.
  • Methanol, 100%: Representative of alcohols and the wider range of solvents used in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • The screed is also resistant to a wide range of mineral oils, salts and inorganic acids.

Slip resistance:

The surface profiles have a coefficient of friction as determined to EN 13038-4 using the 4S rubber on the wet floor as follows:

  • Ucrete DP10 45–50.
  • Ucrete DP20 45–55.
  • Ucrete DP30 50–60.

Additionally the surface profiles conform to DIN51130 as follows:

  • Ucrete DP10 R11.
  • Ucrete DP20 R12 - or R13 V4 (depending upon composition, consult manufacturer for details).
  • Ucrete DP30 R13 V8.

The extremely robust aggregates used to provide the texture of Ucrete DP20 and Ucrete DP30 are designed to maintain optimum slip resistance for many years. Where there is heavy hard wheeled traffic it is recommended that Ucrete DP30 is used. Optimum slip resistance can only be maintained with regular cleaning.

Applications:

Particularly suitable for applications in the food and beverage, pharmaceutical and chemical industries.

Mastertop® 1326 is a light stable elastomeric polyurethane flooring system specifically formulated to enable free form artistic designs to be incorporated into the floor. It provides a tough and scratch-resistant finish with an ergonomically warm, comfortable feel and a high degree of energy absorption.

  • Primer (and optional 1 mm (maximum) scratch primer): MasterTop P 617 (with sand broadcast) or P 615 without broadcast.
  • Bodycoat: MasterTop BC 361N.
  • Topcoat: MasterTop TC 407W (transparent).

Applications:

UV-stable, decorative indoor floor available in a range of brilliant colours for different decorative effects is required, for example offices, exhibitions, shops, hospitals, schools, cafeterias etc.
