ARDEX MVS 95 Moisture Vapour Suppressant

A ready-for-use, one component, water based, dispersion coating supplied in pre-gauged 12 kg units. It is supplied pigmented blue to indicate uniform coverage and is waterproof when fully cured. It is designed to suppress residual construction moisture in cementitious substrates including suitably prepared power floated concrete and cement/ sand screeds. Designed for use as a two coat system. When fully dry, two coats produce a membrane which can accommodate hygrometer readings up to 95% RH and allows the subsequent application of ARDEX levelling and smoothing compounds without priming. The product can be used on heated screeds that have been installed and commissioned in accordance with BS 8204-1, taking into account the recommendations in BS EN 1264-4. It is not suitable for use on direct to ground substrates without a functioning, structural damp proof membrane. Refer to the ARDEX DPM, ARDEX DPM 1C or ARDEX DPM 1CR datasheet for applications where no structural damp proof membrane exists or the relative humidity is above 95% RH.

  • Suppresses residual construction moisture in concrete slabs and cement/ sand screeds.
  • Suitable for use on subfloors up to 95% RH.
  • Apply ARDEX levelling and smoothing compounds direct without priming in as little as two hours.
  • Ready for use, resealable and re-useable.

Superflex Surface Course

Aggregate Industries - Asphalt

Award winning range of surface course materials for urban and rural areas which combines the properties of high fatigue resistance with excellent deformation resistance. It is suited for use in a wide variety of applications but particularly where there is a potential for cracking.

Superflex Carriageway:

Intentionally designed outside of the regime for BBA/HAPAS to allow a wider range of application and performance enhancement, in particular, where durability is placed as of higher importance to high textures. When combined with an appropriate aggregate, in-service results from grip tester surveys have shown that high levels of surface friction is realised and maintained. It is available in 6, 10 and 14 mm aggregate sizes to cover layer thicknesses of between 15–80 mm.

Superflex 72:

Developed to offer friction levels equivalent to that specified for high friction surfaces in highway use. The product achieves this through the use of a specific Aggregate Industries’ aggregate throughout the mixture. Results from grip testing shows that not only are equivalent scrim values in excess of 0.55 realised but that they are maintained over a long period of time. Superflex 72 laid by Aggregate Industries is available with a 10 year scrim warranty.

  • Excellent crack resisting properties which mean Superflex is the ideal material when overlaying concrete.
  • Excels in both deformation resistance and fatigue life over conventional mixtures.
  • Impermeable, keeping out the unwanted action of trapped water.
  • A highly durable product.

  • Heavily trafficked roads (10 and 14 mm).
  • Residential roads (6 and 10 mm).
  • Roundabouts (10 mm).
  • Industrial and commercial areas, particularly where heavy loading is an issue (10 mm).
  • Combined surface and binder course layers (10 and 14 mm).
