Delta Twin Coil

Delta Twincoil Series cylinders are efficient solar thermal hot water cylinders which uitilize unique vacuum panel insulation. They are available from 200–300 L and are Energy-related Products Directive (ErP) B-rated. Can provide up to 60% of annual domestic hot water requirements from solar collectors.

The cylinders use a high performance fully flooded design, with separate expansion vessel and an ultra-grade Incotec immersion heater as booster (or back-up) between the heating coils. A complete set of inlet control valves are supplied as standard. A unit can be controlled either via its own digital thermostat or using thermistor probe(s). They are compatible with both S and Y plan systems, display the water temperature and offer holiday and anti-legionella modes.

Schlüter®-DITRA-HEAT

Features:

  • Schlüter-DITRA-HEAT is a universal substrate for tile coverings, which serves as an uncoupling layer and vapour pressure equalisation layer and is designed for the attachment of heating cables.
  • Schlüter-DITRA-HEAT is a polypropylene membrane with a cut-back stud structure. A fleece fabric is laminated on the underside of the mat. The thickness of the mat, including the stud structure, is approximately 5.5 mm.
  • Schlüter-DITRA-HEAT is non degrading, waterproof and can be used for crack bridging.
  • Schlüter-DITRA-HEAT is largely resistant to the effects of watery solutions, salts, acids and alkalis, many organic solvents, alcohols and oils.

Summary of functions:

  • Uncoupling: Schlüter-DITRA-HEAT uncouples the covering from the substrate and neutralises the stresses between the substrate and the tile covering that result from different deformation processes. The material effectively bridges tension cracks from the substrate and ensures that they are not transferred to the tile covering.
  • Load distribution: The stud structure of Schlüter-DITRA-HEAT with its thin bed adhesive layer transfers traffic loads on the tile covering directly to the substrate. As a result, tile coverings installed over Schlüter -DITRA-HEAT are highly durable (Minimum tile format 5 x 5 cm).
  • Bonded assembly: Due to the bond of the fleece fabric with the thin-bed adhesive over the substrate and the mechanical anchoring of the thin-bed adhesive in the cut-back stud structure, Schlüter-DITRA-HEAT creates a lasting bond of the tile covering with the substrate.
