Available exclusively through SIG Design & Technology and manufactured in the UK, Armourplan SG is a glass tissue reinforced fleece backed PVC membrane. Armourplan SG sheets are partially or fully bonded to the substrate using Armourplan Contact Adhesive. Lap joints in the sheets are welded with a hot air gun.
Armourplan SG fleece backed PVC membrane can be installed onto plywood, OSB / timber boarding, smooth concrete, profiled galvanised steel (with suitable overlay), woodwool slab or PIR Insulation.
Armourplan is versatile in either new build or refurbishment, quick and simple to install, covers workmanship in the warranty and is competitively priced. Guaranteed for up to 20 years with BBA life expectancy in excess of 30 years, it offers exceptional mechanical properties.

Armourplan Walkway membrane is a 2mm thick anthracite or mid grey coloured PVC walkway membrane available in 1.0m wide x 20m long rolls and is hot air welded to the roof surface in a layout as specified by the client. The chevron patterned walkway membrane provides a slip resistant surface and provides additional protection to the waterproof membrane in areas where mechanical damage is more likely to occur. Armourplan Walkway membrane can be installed over either mechanically fastened or adhered Armourplan roofing systems.

The glass tissue reinforcement offers excellent dimensional stability and flexibility allowing the material to form easily into intricate details ensuring the roof installation is fully waterproofed. All overlaps and joints with are heat welded using suitable hot-air welding equipment.
Armourplan G membrane can be used to waterproof the joints between Armourplan membrane coated metal flashing sections and gutter joints or used to form complex details such as pipe penetrations or external corners. Armourplan detailing PVC membrane can also be used to form adhered upstands.

The flexibility allows the material to be formed easily into intricate details ensuring the roof installation is fully waterproofed. Armourplan Detailing Membrane is adhered to suitable detailing surfaces using Armourplan PVC Contact Adhesive or Sprayfast PCA adhesive. All overlaps and joints are heated welded using suitable hot-air welding equipment.
