Novia Breather Membrane Lap Tape is a sealing and bonding tape suitable for sealing laps on external breather membranes within both roof and wall applications. It should normally be used in conjunction with Novia double-sided acrylic overlap tape for a fully sealed and airtight membrane installation.
Novia Breather Membrane Lap Tape should be used in conjunction with Novia Black and Novia Reflex breather membranes for use on roofs to meet BS 5534 wind uplift tests. The UK wind zone maps can be found on the individual product datasheets.

Novia Black Pro Breather Membrane is a premium quality, versatile, heavyweight breather membrane for all pitched cold and warm roofs, and insulated wall applications. The material meets EN 13859-1 for pitched roofing and EN 13859-2 for walls. Novia Black Pro has excellent water resistance but still provides high breathability; it is strong and also complies with EN 13501-1 fire classification grade E. This is our heaviest Novia Black Pro Breather Membrane with a weight of 146GSM. The product is completely black on one side, and white on the reverse, with no text or images on either side, except a 150mm overlap line.

Novia FR Breather is a B-s1,d0* fire class breather membrane, dual approved for use in both roof and wall applications.
This membranes is suitable for use in pitched cold and warm roofs, and insulated wall applications including those above 18m in height, in line with current building regulations.
Novia FR Breather meets EN 13859-1 for pitched roofing and EN 13859-2 for walls. Importantly, the product reaches the best water resistance testing result of W1 to EN1928, as well as offering good breathability, and being lightweight for easier installations.
Novia FR Breather is coloured black to the front and white on the reverse. No text or images are present on the material apart from a lap line 150mm in from each edge.

Novia Black Breather is a low weight, high performance breather membrane suitable for use as a breathable roof underlay. It has excellent water resistance and is suitable for direct installation over insulation, boarded roofs or rafters. The product is suitable for all pitched cold and warm roofs, and may also be used as a high specification wall breather. The roll is black on one side, with lines for lapping over, and white on the reverse. Novia Black is suitable for use in BS 5534 wind uplift applications. Following successful tests, Novia Black can be used in zone 1 without additional tapes, and in zones 1-5 using our Breather Membrane lap tape.

Novia Reflex Breather Membrane is a reflective breather membrane that is suitable for use on both roof and wall applications. The membrane is CE approved to EN 13859-1 and EN 13859-2. The membrane can improve insulation calculations by utilising the highly reflective surface within a 25mm airgap. Novia Reflex will also act as an external airtightness barrier.

Novia Ultra + has good water resistance, high breathability, and is easy to handle on site due to the light weight of each roll.
The roll is dark grey on one side with lap lines for installation, and white on the other.

These types of membrane are installed on the cold side, or the external side of the insulation beneath the main outer building lining, roof-tiles or cladding.

A2-s1-d0 fire rated sheathing board; Cembrit Windstopper Extreme is a vapour permeable cement based building board, which can accept insulation being placed against the board on the warm side of the building, whilst acting as a fire break against any blaze in the ventilation cavity behind the rainscreen.
Cembrit Windstopper Extreme has been tested to BS EN 1364-1:2015 (BS 476-22:1987).
As part of a non-load bearing vertical building element it will provide 120/120 minutes of fire resistance when exposed to fire from one side and can be exposed the external conditions for up to 12 months with no breather membrane required.

Novia 1200 VCL is a high specification, blown polythene material, suitable for use as a vapour control layer within the walls of frame constructions, or where control of the passage of water vapour is required.
This product also performs the additional function of an air-leakage barrier, to prevent losses due to unwanted convection flows. We advise the use of Novia butyl and metallised BOPP tapes to ensure a complete barrier integrity throughout the entire life of the product. Novia 1200 VCL should be used in combination with Novia breather membranes to provide an air-tight and vapour resistant system.
Novia 1200 VCL is fully CPR compliant and is CE Approved to EN 13984:2013.
