The FireMaster® active fire curtain barrier is a vertical fire curtain barrier compliant to BS, EN, AS and GB standards and in accordance with BS 8524-1:2013 and BS EN 1634-1 and 1634-3 standards.
Developed to work with all building types, including domestic houses, the FireMaster® active fire curtain barrier is supplied with the Coopers Total Gravity Fail Safe (TGFS) system and features variable speed, controlled descent, limits radiation, smoke leakage, emergency egress and side channels.

Natural, inert and radioactive, Radon gas has the potential of causing lung cancer in humans. Radon has to be prevented from entering a building in the first place, and Delta-Gas Barrier is ideally suited to this task. Conforming to BR 211, BR 212 and Building Regulations Document C, the barrier has the added advantage of giving totally dependable protection layer against rising damp.

SmokeStop™ smoke curtain barrier is supplied as standard with Coopers’ Total Gravity Fail Safe (TGFS) system, variable speed, integrity, warning systems and controlled descent the SmokeStop™ smoke curtain barrier is available in a number of standard sizes, but can also be manufactured to meet any width requirement to a maximum drop of 12 metres.
SmokeStop™ smoke curtain can be supplied as a vertical smoke curtain or an upside down system and is compliant to BS 7346-3 and BS 476-20 to control smoke for up to 30 minutes. Developed and manufactured by Coopers, the SmokeStop™ smoke curtain barrier is approved to provide compartmentation and to protect escalators and atria in any standard commercial building from smoke migration.

Hamilton Erskine required a number of different glass constructions to be tested as barrier glass. Encapsulated within the Evguard EVA in some of the glass constructions was a modified polyester (MPE) sheet in various thicknesses. The tests were conducted at the premises of CR Laurence using their balustrade load testing rig and observed by John Colvin of JCGC Limited.
Evguard EVA is stiffer than standard PVB, but not as stiff as DG41 PVB.
In a sufficiently rigid top mounted clamping system, 16.8 mm and 17.5 mm laminated toughened glass using Evguard would be appropriate to resist a 0.74 kN/m barrier load. In a sufficiently rigid top mounted clamping system, 21.5 mm laminated toughened glass using Evguard would be appropriate to resist a 1.5 kN/m barrier load.
