Floor door and basement access hatch with a recessed 'pan type' lid to accommodate a floor infill to match the surrounding area. HIAC Access covers are gas spring assisted or electric operation manufactured from aluminium. The pan type lid can have a stainless steel trim around the top edge. The access cover is not watertight but is self-draining. Any water passing the seals will be dispersed via an integral drainage channel. Floor cover is designed with a recess up to 80mm to take architectural flooring material.

The Cover Skates are easy and safe to use. They are very portable and can be carried in a bag. Lifting keys for other manufacturers access covers are available to order.Two skates per cover (positioned at opposite corners)are required to enable wheeled movement of cover away from clear opening.

This light duty floor access cover can be manufactured in aluminium or stainless steel. The 5000 Series aluminium access cover can be supplied with the choice of an aluminium or brass show edge with matching lifting blocks. For stainless steel covers the show edge is manufactured from stainless steel with a steel baseplate and reinforcement.

The 1050 Series is manufactured from stainless steel with steel base plate and reinforcement and can be supplied as a single, duct or multipart unit. Fire rating options of up to 3 hours for a single cover and 2 hours for duct or multipart covers are available.
