The fully shrouded stainless steel wash basin V216 not only is very secure against tampering and vandalism. It has a distinctive and clean appearance with totally concealed pipework. Produced in brushed satin stainless steel to EN 1.4301, the highly functional basin is suited for use in any environment, from highly secure premises to general washrooms and workshops.

A new purpose-made stainless steel worktop by GEC Anderson was included within the clinical area of this busy London medical centre. Responsibility for medical centres to carry out minor clinical procedures is increasing. To deal with the need for a safe and professional clinical area, refurbishment works included the provision of a new sink and worktop.Carefully specified by Edwards Rogers Associates, the 1800x625mm worktop includes 450mm high, integral, upstands at back and sides for total hygiene and cleanliness. Two sinks were seamlessly integrated within the continuous worktop. One circular and one rectangular in shape, denoting their differing purposes. The circular bowl is for hand washing and the rectangular bowl for the washing of instruments and equipment. The front edge profile is curved, complying with the precise detailing prescribed by HTM 63 (Healthcare Technical Memorandum).The unit was produced in EN 1.4301 grade brushed satin stainless steel. Stainless steel is well know for its robustness and the brushed finish provides not only a highly resilient and practical surface but also an attractive aesthetic.

This is a metal roof coating & liquid gutter lining project carried out at Oxford Brookes University. The roof was power washed and the gutters cleaned before application. The gutters were treated with Liquasil's rust primer to prevent further rusting, before the seamless, silicone Gutterseal system was applied. The roof was coated with a single coat of Metalseal 20 in Goosewing Grey.

This project in North London was created with the intention of enhancing the housing stock of the location and providing a positive contribution to the texture, grain and building types within the conservation area. To achieve this appearance, Wienerberger's Marziale brick was used. Additionally, a carefully selected mortar, using white cement, lime and washed river sand and a subtle manipulation of the surface, was applied to enhance the quality of the brickwork.

Edinburgh based football club, Heart of Midlothian Football Club (Hearts FC) is a city institution and its Tynecastle stadium is classed as a ‘must-visit’ destination for any football-mad tourist. The recent multimillion pound redevelopment has seen it undergo a major transformation to ensure visitors have the most memorable and safe experience possible.It’s no surprise that football fans want refreshments while at the stadium, so the concourse houses a number of food and drink kiosks around the ground. Something that can be found at each and every kiosk is an Instanta InstaTap – and with 30 new machines purchased as part of the refurbishment programme, that takes the total up to 50 so far.“We originally started using Instanta about three years ago”, comments Graeme Pacitti, head of hospitality and catering operations, “after the competitor product we were using back then just kept breaking down. We looked around for a replacement and narrowed it down to two products, but went with Instanta because we liked the idea of being with a British manufacturer. It means if we do need to contact the team, it’s very quick and efficient.” Graeme is impressed with not only how the Instanta products work, but also how well they fit in to the kiosks. “We have both under-counter and counter-top water boilers, and they fit the compact space very well, but still deliver the high volumes we require on match days. They also look good and are extremely reliable.” Ben McCosh of Arumba Coffee, who supplies the stadium with its catering machines, adds: “The Instanta machines deliver what they promise. Match days are hectic, with a lot of pressure on the refreshment kiosks, but the water boilers don’t let the team down.”

Franke Water Systems was chosen for a local school Henry Fanshawe in Dronfield for their washrooms refurbishment over the summer break. Franke were chosen to supply a mixed range of products including solid surface washtroughs and stainless steel sanitaryware. The project included a range of Miranit composite wash troughs and stainless steel circular washtroughs complete with self-closing taps and SD80 soap dispensers.

The Latvian National Museum of Art, located in the Capital, Riga, is host to the richest collection of national art in Latvia. Reconstruction of the museum was completed in 2015, transforming the space inside to maximise the viewing experience. The ceiling was constructed using 5,578 FR treated Riga Prime boards cut, machined, and primed "in house" by Latvijas Finieris. The finished panels were then attached to a steel frame with concealed fixtures.

Arwel House, a mid-twentieth-century brick-built house nestled in the Staffordshire countryside, has undergone a remarkable transformation. Machin envisioned a retrofit and remodelling process that would highlight the house's character and unique details, re-establishing its connection with the surrounding gardens and agricultural landscape.The interior rooms were refurbished, and a new two-story extension was added to provide additional living and bathroom space. The outdated veranda and sunroom at the front of the property were removed, along with their degraded PVC-u windows and joinery.A striking garden room now graces the south-facing elevation, featuring an imposing white façade that interacts with the shadows cast by nearby trees. Gowercroft Joinery played a pivotal role in this transformation, manufacturing large timber-framed windows and sliding doors for the garden room. White timber-clad columns, reminiscent of the original veranda, complement the overall design.Two covered external spaces adjacent to the garden room serve as pleasant sitting areas, bridging the gap between indoors and outdoors. Gowercroft's oversized timber-framed lift and slide patio doors, French doorsets, and classic casement windows flood the house with natural light. Their slim profiles harmonise with the surrounding materials and colours, seamlessly blending the transition from brick and quarry tiles to stone paving outside.Throughout the project, one set of Peveril lift and slide doors, three Melbourne French doors, and 22 Hardwick casement windows were installed. In the nursery toilet cubicles, Bushboard’s Tiny Stuff range was chosen with colours including Buttermilk, Winter and Bayleaf. The staff chose Solid Surface wash troughs in Celestial to compliment the soft colour palette.The sports building at Croydon High School was also fitted with new toilet cubicles and ezeeduct panelling. The award-winning Worcestershire Golf Club, Gaudet Luce Golf and Leisure Complex has recently undergone an upgrade of their washrooms. Lincoln bowl has recently undergone a major washroom refurbishment to give their bowling alley a much-needed makeover. The renovation consisted of a whole washroom revamp from flooring to washbasins, taps, urinals and even the less-abled washroom facilities. This was the first asbestos roof coating project undertaken with Liquasil products, back in 2013. The roof was heavily soiled and was cleaned using a DOFF steam cleaning machine, delivering 150°c steam to completely kill moss and lichen spores. The metal fixings were treated with Liquasil's corrosion primer and sealed with Non-Sag Sealer before the whole roof was coated with Asbestoseal, the only BBA Approved asbestos roof coating.

A recent upgrade to ward kitchens included the provision of stainless steel worktops, basins and base cabinets, by stainless steel specialist, GEC Anderson Limited.In a phased upgrade program, the Foundation Trust approached GEC Anderson directly to agree detailing, specifications and costings for the various ward kitchens. The scope of work included bespoke worktops, sinktops, base cabinets and wall-hung wash basins.The results are professional, hygienic and durable kitchens that will stand the test of time for the Trust.

TaperedPlus in conjunction with Unilin Insulation supplied tapered TR/MG for the full PIR scheme. The East Tower L55 and Machine roofs were 798m2 in total, so we supplied the roof in two call-offs to make deliveries more manageable on site.The vision for the Wardian “is to take inspiration from [Nathaniel Bagshaw Ward’s] curiosity, his spirit of adventure and his sense of precision, and to create the most exciting new development in the British capital”.

This project involved the removal of the existing factory finish to an industrial unit in the West Midlands, followed by cut edge corrosion treatment and full roof & parapet coating. Once the original finish had been removed using high pressure jet washing, all of the end laps to the roof sheets were coated with SWT (Surface & Wet Tolerant) corrosion primer, to prevent further rusting. Once cured, the roof was coated with the BBA Approved Metalseal 20 to a film thickness of approx 300 microns.

International bathroom experts Villeroy & Boch have been commissioned by Hotel La Tour, Birmingham to remodel all of their en-suites and public wash-rooms. Working with pHp Architects and interior design Adrian Coleman, Villeroy & Boch have updated the 4* hotel with sleek wall-hung sanitaryware and contemporary surface mounted basins; choosing pieces from their Loop & Friends, Momento, Squaro and Subway collections. In total 550 pieces were installed, completing 174 bathrooms in the hotel.

Located on the Isle of Dogs peninsula on the Thames in London’s East End, two residential towers of 31 and 45 floors, respectively, are among the tallest buildings in the British capital and the tallest residential buildings in Europe. The clarity of the external appearance, which transmits both its quadratic shape and the uniform facade design with reflected glass, was replicated on the interior by interior designers. Cubic elements, such as the classic Memento wash basin from Villeroy & Boch, pick up on the predominant architectural language.

This is an asbestos cement roof refurbishment project, using the BBA Approved Asbestoseal system from Liquasil. The roof was first cleaned using a steam cleaning machine and all metal fixings were treated with Lqiuasil's SWT Primer. All fixings and cracks were sealed with Non-Sag Sealer before the roof was completely coated with Asbestoseal 20, providing long term protection against the elements. A 10 year Latent Defects Insurance Guarantee was issued upon completion.

KEIM NHL Kalkputz can be used as a complete lime render system and also for patch repair of existing NHL rendered facades, over large or in localised areas.

In an opera production a 3D HDD projector was supposed to project images onto the stage during performances. Standing as it did on a trolley, which was to be moved over a tiled floor, the projector was virtually unusable. The problem was solved by combining an increase in the projector frame to 10 kg with the assembly of pneumatic levelling mounts PLM-1 from ACE. PLM is located in the low-frequency range and is primarily used when measuring tables, test equipment and high-performance machines need to be perfectly isolated.

Tasked with specifying a signature element for Nudo Sushi Box, leading fit-out manufacturer Swandene Specialist Contract Interiors looked to Karndean Designflooring for its inspiration. Looking to achieve an eye-catching design to take forward as part of the roll out to other locations, Swandene opted for a striking chevron design using two contrasting wood designs from Karndean’s Opus collection. The statement design showcases the cool, grey wash hues of Grano (WP311) against the rustic timber effect of Ignea (WP313).

The washrooms within Brookside Primary school, Leicester were in need of refurbishment, and they took the opportunity to choose Franke to provide a washroom solution. The Solx range of Miranit solid surface washtroughs and Aqua taps were chosen to fulfill the requirements of four washrooms throughout the school. The playful design and the pleasant warm surface of the Miranit solid surface troughs are a temptation for children to wash their hands. The non-porous, high gloss hygienic surface in conjunction with a high resistance to impact and abrasion, emphasis how well these troughs are suitable for everyday use.

The metal roof was first prepared using high powered jet washing equipment, to remove loose and flaking materials. Liquasil corrosion primer was applied to the corroded cut edges and the entire roof was sprayed with a single coat of Metalseal 20. The metal box gutter was heavily corroded. The loose and flaking material was removed and Liquasil’s Corrosion Primer was applied all along the gutter. The joints in the gutter were sealed with Liquasil’s unique Non-Sag Sealer and then the entire gutter was coated with Liquasil One to provide a seamless gutter finish.

This asbestos roof is being cleaned using a closed box pressure wash, with all waste water being filtered and recovered for re-use. Once cleaned, the roof is coated with the BBA Approved Asbestoseal system which includes: SWT CORROSION PRIMER - fully rust and wet tolerant, the primer is applied to all metal fixing to stop further corrosion. NON-SAG SEALER - is applied to all fixings and small holes and cracks to permanently seal them. ASBESTOSEAL 20 is brush applied to the roof sheets to provide a new finish.

Metalseal 20 was specified to re-brand a small industrial estate in Swindon. Roofs and external cladding were all stripped of existing finishes using vapour blasting. Cut edge corrosion was treated using SWT Primer and all metal surfaces were coated with BBA Approved Metalseal 20 roof & cladding coating. The finish is now graffiti proof, with any graffiti simply washing off with water, with no ghosting residue. The project is covered by the unique Liquasil latent defects insurance guarantee (including cover for professional design).
