Exeter Grade II Listed Building Recieves New Fully Built-Up IKO UPXL System

IKO provided a new fully built-up IKO Ultra Prevent System including an IKO enertherm ALU Tapered Insulation Scheme. This not only enhanced the falls to drain rainwater more effectively but also upgraded the thermal value of the roof which will save the Pre-School money on their heating bills. IKO designed a bespoke solution, in keeping with the building’s grade II listed status which also assisted with achieving the u-value upgrade required for current building regulations. The client was highly satisfied with an IKO 25 year single point warranty.

The 49 extra care apartments, plus 30 residential bedrooms to support people living with dementia feature Senior’s timber and aluminium composite Hybrid range, to give the scheme a domestic and homely feel.
The development also benefits from Senior’s thermally efficient SF52 aluminium curtain wall and SPW 600 windows to help reduce heating costs and maintain a pleasant ambient temperature for residents.

Wood effect luxury vinyl tiles and hardwearing Polysafe safety flooring from Polyflor were chosen to create a nautical inspired interior design scheme for Copperfish bar, restaurant and takeaway in the seaside destination of Mumbles Pier in Swansea, Wales.
Heavy commercial Affinity255 PUR luxury vinyl tiles in the Cross Sawn Timber, Aspen Pine and Flamed Chestnut designs were installed to the restaurant floor by local contractors Pro-Spec Interiors Ltd .
Polysafe Apex safety flooring in the Breccia and Chromite shades was used in the back of house kitchen areas, behind the bar and around the takeaway servery.

Positioned at the end of Stansted Airport runway, is a brand-new College which opened its doors for the first time in September 2018. With just one runway serving all take off and landings, and the college’s location not far from the end of it, noise was a big concern.
Selectaglaze helped provide a tailor-made solution with secondary glazing. It is the most effective method of acoustic insulation for windows in extremely noisy areas.
Selectaglaze installed 32 units across the college with their Series 10 - 2 and 3 pane horizontal sliders and a Series 41 casement door.

Downtown Doha is a multimillion pound scheme to regenerate the Downtown Doha district. Surespan supplied a wide number of electrically operated glazed roof hatches along with solid top roof access hatches. Sizes included a 3310 x 1120, 4320 x 1110, 3245 x 760, 1098 x 4330mm and the biggest size came in at 4462 x 6654mm. All the hatches were provided powder coated using Interpon D series for enhanced durability.
In addition, a variety of other products including wall & ceiling access panels were manufactured from Stainless steel. The largest panel was 2700 x 1600mm manufactured as a double door.

Concrete Gutter Repair with Liquasil's liquid gutter lining system
Liquasil Ltd
This concrete gutter had been problematic for many years, with water ingress causing much damage to the flats beneath.
The bricks to the parapet wall were blown and parts had to be rebuilt as part of the project.
The liquid gutter liner was applied to the base and all upstands to the gutter, including the brickwork, to perform a 100% leak-free, seamless gutter.
Products employed: Liquasil One and Non-Sag Sealer.
Curved Solar Shade System at Hyde Park Corner Underpass

Dales designed & manufactured curved aluminium solar shading units installed above digital advertising screens positioned over each side of the Hyde Park Corner underpass near Knightsbridge.
The 260mm Shadex elliptical aluminium blade extrusions were rotated 45° and then curved to multiple radii horizontally before being manufactured into cassettes. The complete structure covers an area 15 by 13 metres with the cassettes bolted into cantilevered structural steels.

The PVC insert on the tread has been designed to provide additional slip resistance which is ideal for the waterpark. The NTC nosing meets DDA Guidelines and Building regulations.

The Hyatt hotel chain set itself the goal of building a new hotel in the vicinity of the Corferias Convention Centre in Bogotá.
One key decisions in the project was the selection of a system for the control of dirt, dust and moisture entering the building, to ensure maximum care of floor coverings.
The Genesis Trakmat® system. With it’s aluminium profiling system with PVC links, which makes it 100% roll-up, would guarantee its easy manoeuvrability and ease of maintenance, as well as maximum softness to the contact of the shoes and a minimum noise emission when passing guests.

The sheer volume of passengers visiting Stansted on a daily basis puts an enormous strain on the airport facilities, including the washrooms. System M was specified for the refurbishment due to its strength and durability.
System M’s patented emergency access system is made possible by an innovative pivoting pilaster. The pilaster is ‘squeezed’ allowing normally opening inward doors to be pulled outwards in the event of an emergency at the airport.
The finish was completed with Clipclad precision wall panelling; bright and sleek with a fresh colour palette of greens and natural wood effects.
