Byrom Point is a new build 398-bed student accommodation scheme that has been completed using the Generix stone cladding system in a Jura Limestone finish. Designed by Falconer Chester Hall architects, the project is a significant addition to the World Heritage site around Liverpool's docks.

The circular building, where legends like The Rolling Stones, Jimi Hendrix and Pink Floyd began, was redeveloped and reopened in 2006. FOAMGLAS® insulation was used for the floor, the façade and the flat roof, ensuring water and vapour resistance despite the open nature of the façade. It is also non-combustible and waterproof.

For the construction of a large villa of soft and natural colours in the countryside near Bologna, various Atlas Concorde floor and wall-tiles collections were used. Project Overview: Westfield London has undergone a £600 million refurbishment and extension programme to become the largest shopping centre in Europe. With shopping and leisure outlets including a flagship gym, cinema, restaurants and bars, it is a premier retail and social venue in London.The design intention for the 740,000 sq foot extension was for Jura Limestone to surround a significant part of the exterior of the building and small sections of the interior. Various factors encouraged the designers to explore alternatives that could provide both a fast turnaround and the majestic, enduring appearance of Jura Stone.The Solution:Powdertech expertise, combined with the flexibility and design freedom of aluminium and powder coating, enabled the vision to be quickly realised.A sample of Jura limestone was sent to Powdertech where tests of different powders and effects were compared against the limestone which has natural veins of quartz and fossils appearing against a beige background. Test samples were sent back to the client and within four weeks ‘Ballycastle Stone’, a bespoke powder in our Landscape™ range, was ready to be applied to 4500sq m of aluminium cladding panels. These have an uneven leg tray to produce a saw-tooth effect as the image shows.It was essential to achieve colour consistency between batches and our powder coatings excel in this aspect. The overall effect on the finished building is an homogenous appearance of stone, across the whole, but with variations in flecks of colour against the background, just as in the stone itself. When Cardiff Castle wanted to regenerate an under-used space within the heart of the historic site, to provide a marketing and promotional suite for the city, they turned to international flooring specialist Gerflor to supply 200m2 of its stunning and award-winning Creation 70 LVT Halifax Stone flooring for the new area.

Situated in Richmond, Surrey and overlooking the River Thames, the Petersham Hotel undertook a refurbishment of the Tower suite to ensure an unforgettable visit alongside the equally picturesque views. Tile and stone protection experts Schlüter-Systems were on hand to provide a level entry system solution for the bathroom of this stunning area of the hotel.

We provided Kota Brown sawn edge paving, and hand-cut setts, to create intricate pathways around the venue. The hand cut setts (available in 100x100 and 200x100) add great detail to the edges of the pathways, and the tones of the Kota Brown stone give a Tuscan feel to the venue, whatever the weather!

The Sniezka Medica Spa, a multipurpose hotel with great urban appeal, is located in Łomnica, Poland. Atlas Concorde floors and tiles help shape the contemporary design of the large spaces of this hotel. Every detail of the project and the choice of materials have been designed to give the best reception to an international clientele.Marble-finish ceramic surfaces for scenic patterns and geometries in space Spaces are modern and welcoming. In the hall and in the area in front of the hotel’s reception, the star is Marvel PRO, which outlines the floors in scenic and practical interiors. Here, interior design plays with an alternation of light shades, such as Cremo Delicato, and dark shades, such as Noir St. Laurent. The honed finish of the Marvel PRO marble-effect stoneware gives unprecedented shine. In the Noir St. Laurent nuance, the stoneware surface resembles a kind of French marble with a dark ground, shades ranging from rich brown to deep black, outlined by white veins. It alternates with Cremo Delicato, which looks like a kind of Italian marble in a beige shade that verges on ivory, standing out for its delicate brown veins.Stone-effect stoneware for outdoor safety and aesthetic impact   In the hotel’s three entrances, stoneware surfaces celebrate a luscious, attractive nature with the Trust collection by Atlas Concorde. The ceramic surfaces of the Trust collection look like stone, with similarly rich details. Titanium was the colour of choice for this architectural project, as it takes inspiration from a precious split stone, embedding its scratches and elegant colour streaks.

A recently completed residential complex in the centre of London is where you will find this magnificent building which has been finished to the highest standard. The reception area is welcomed by a circular entrance with a pool of water at the centre. The stone that's been used is a pale cream and the metal work is a light bronze. We provided the pull door handles which complement the colours and materials used. The have been finished in a dark bronze adding a dramatic entrance across the front of the building and on the main entrance. You can find a range of finishes which we offer across a range of products. The front of the building benefits from planted up areas which breaks up the hard lines, this along with the curved stone seated areas creates a pleasant place to sit and sip a coffee. There have also made great use of lighting in the main lobby area and the reception is grand and welcoming. The style of our handles used are Ash 103.

The Mode Huiskes residential complex in the Dutch town of Twello has been completely redesigned, creating an innovative location with a clean and simple look. The outdoor flooring used for the project is the LASTRA 20mm version of Atlas Concorde's Trust collection.The renovation project was designed by architects at Bessel and includes a 675 square meter structure divided into different spaces. Saturday 2nd July 2016 marked the Centenary celebrations of the famous Cunard building in Liverpool – one of the city’s world–famous Three Graces. To bring the Cunard company’s legacy to life, the Hardscape team was commissioned by BCA Landscape in collaboration with design agency Smiling Wolf to craft an epic 50-metre granite stone seat.

Dundee’s dramatic new attraction, the V&A museum, is set to become a world class destination, as work connecting Scotland’s fourth largest city to its Waterfront, continues. Hardscape were privileged to supply the natural stone, both outside the building and inside including the beautiful Carlow Blue limestone flooring and steps leading up to the galleries.

Based in the poplar region of the LondonBorough of Tower Hamlets, the Streamlight Tower is a 24-storey high-rise building comprising of 90 flats.Higgins Partnerships was appointed by Swan Housing toundertake reclad works to bring the building in line withmodern building regulations.For this installation ROCKWOOL Steel Frame Slab non-combustible stone wool was used.

Kings Cairn is a bespoke residential property situated in a unique and prestigious development in East Lothian. Taylor Maxwell worked closely with the client, architects and main contractors Prime Property Ventures to specify and supply facing bricks, Pro Clad brick cladding, Anvil metal cladding and wet cast stone (manufactured by Vobster Architectural) to the property.

Stockport Exchange has been undergoing extensive refurbishment since 2014 with improvements to the train station, a new multi storey car park, new retail and leisure facilities as well as office buildings. Given its location on the doorstep of one of the busiest train routes in the country, connections to London in under 2 hours, and less than 10 minute journey into Manchester - The potential and popularity of the scheme has seen well known brands such as Stage Coach, Music Magpie and many others fully occupying the office spaces. The external area surrounding the buildings is completely pedestrianised with a combination of paved walkways, grass plots, and raised concrete edging for plants and trees. An open green space that is the first thing visitors see of Stockport after leaving the train station.Artform Urban were asked to provide their popular Stone Benches in HPC Granite with a smooth Velluto finish. The unique design and polished finish invites users to interact whether to rest or to climb and play. The solid stone bench becomes an immovable barrier offering security and protection once it has to be maneuvered into place with cranes. A modern and monolithic design that creates a striking visual contrast to the contemporary glass and steel architecture. The stone bench range has recently been expanded with three sizes now being offered in new finishes.The client, George Cox & Sons, have a mission to present a high quality finish on all their projects that provide essential transport links. Stockport Exchange is another excellent scheme added to their portfolio. The regeneration scheme has and continues to be a success for Stockport Council and is a benchmark for future renovations to the town centre. 

A stone's throw from St. Paul’s Cathedral, in 2018, 55 Gresham Street was remodelled from its late 20th-century origin into a modern office building that remains in keeping with its majestic surroundings.BCM GRC supplied Portland-coloured columns and spandrels to the development, in addition to the soffit panels which create a feature above the main entrance.

This stunning bespoke stone staircase, created from La Roche limestone, forms part of a large project that Stoneworld have collaborated on: After digitally templating the bare concrete structure onsite, individual step treads and step risers have been cut on the water jet cutter in our masonry factory. These have then been expertly fitted by the contractor.

In the refined finishes and the elegance of the accessories, the design of the Luxury Design apartments located in the historic centre of Verona finds an informal dimension. Between the wooden elements and the natural stone details, the identity of the city's architecture comes to life. The choice of flooring respects these elements. The beautiful herringbone floor with Allura Hungarian point planks in different colours creates both an authentic as well as luxurious atmosphere.

Elephant Park, in essence a sculptural work of art, features rocky boulder mounds over two metres high, covering an area of 420sq metres and is constructed entirely from 600 colourful Prima Porphyry stone blocks and boulders, an igneous rock formed 230 million years ago, all meticulously sourced by Hardscape from a quarry in the Albiano region of northern Italy. 

Mapei adhesive and grout products have been specified for the installation of a stone pattern in the reception and washroom areas in a refurbishment to the Freemasons’ Hall, London. The Hall first opened in 1933 as a memorial to the 3,255 Freemasons who died during active service in the First World War, and has been used for events, the meeting place for the Grand Lodge, and annual meetings of the home counties since.

This renovation was designed to integrate the Johann Sebastian Bach Hall within Köthen Castle with the accompanying function rooms in the adjacent coach house. The concert hall's exterior was semi clad using EQUITONE [natura] in N154, Cream White. The new material, with its modern, 3D installation on top of the original, stone architecture is not designed to be a seamless installation, but is designed to show a development that is at least related to its foundations.

33 Charterhouse Street – now known as The JJ Mack Building –  is one of London’s most stylish and sustainable new office buildings, completed in 2022.BCM GRC supplied the intricate, fluted panels that line the ground floor reception area, as well as the cool grey feature panels of the building's lift lobbies – all of which were expertly installed by our partner installer, Henley Stone.

the rooftop bar known as the 'wagtail' is housed atop 68 King William street, a well renowned building in the heart of the square mile. The Raaft support system was used in this instance, to support the Roma Natural tiles giving that light stone appearance. On top of this, positive 'vibes' are the only ambience you're getting from the public enjoying their evening out and taking in the views of the surrounding London skyline.

This unique bathroom is typically Brazilian in design. The bathroom adjoins a spacious, well-furnished bedroom, and sits under a large skylight. BCM supplied these striking GRC ‘picture surrounds’ to the balconies of a residential development now known as Orwell House, on Baroness Road in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets.The chequerboard pattern of the surrounds echoes the design of the blocks of the original estate, but their terracotta colour provides the new block with a radical, modern façade. The surrounds were expertly installed by BCM's partner installer, Henley Stone, who completed their installation in early 2020.

Stone: LUNDHS Blue® - silk and polished surfaces.As visually arresting as it is practical, Lundhs Blue, used in and around this outdoor pool, has extremely low absorption properties, meaning it is not affected by the outdoor elements or swimming pool chemicals. Inside the pool, high gloss polished tiles have been used whilst a silk finish has been used o the surround to create a less slippery surface.

Helo UK Ltd completed the installation of a wellness suite at Old Thorns Golf & Country Estate in Liphook, Hampshire. The installation comprised an attractive Herb sauna with a large feature window, heated by two Rocher designer sauna heaters loaded with 240 kilos of stones for excellent infusion. The other attractions include an Aroma steam room, ice fountain, heated loungers, heated bench and footspa combination.

Using INTRAform DM, this back-to-frame Grade A office refurbishment features three bold horizontal stripes of entrance matting to make a striking first impression on visitors. The double-width fibre inserts within the system provide superior dirt and moisture absorption and retention. While the use of the dark-coloured INTRAlux Linear anthracite fibre hides soiling and provides a strong visual contrast to the stone floor.

This extravagant garden was designed by Adolfo Harrison (Landscaping work carried out by Town & Country Gardens), featuring our La Roche Luna acid-etched limestone, bespoke steps, and pool copings. Our La Roche Luna is a dark, earthy limestone with fossil and highlight detailing, giving the stone a gentle character. It is a dense, durable, and hard-wearing material, with versatility for both interior and exterior uses.
