ASF Bespoke Waterfront Railings, Birkenhead

Architectural Street Furnishings part of WB White Foundry

This long run of railings brought with it a number of manufacturing challenges and techniques. They needed to be curved in profile so they form a quayside post, curving and leaning inwards so they do not make a 'natural ladder' beside the water. The panels themselves are manufactured in mild steel, finished galvanised and then painted in satin finished graphite grey. The top rails are of a contrasting polished finished grade 316 stainless steel, finished satin brushed. The run of railings has a combination of straight and curved panels, meaning each individual horizontal infill bar needed to be curved individually.

Knightsbridge Penthouse

Bulthaup Mayfair

This bulthaup b3 kitchen in a chic, Knightsbridge penthouse incorporates a smart dining space for entertaining. Matt lacquer in Kaolin was chosen for the island and tall furniture to allow for a light fresh aesthetic. Pocket doors conceal all of the functional storage and appliances so they are out of sight but handy when needed. The rough-sawn, oak furniture on the rear wall is suspended from the b3 framework so that it 'floats' above the floor - our designer worked closely with Lab Architects on detailing the porcelain feature wall cladding around the structure. The Solid Wood Flooring Company

Few people realise that it is possible to clad old stairs with our engineered herringbone parquet floors. It is a specialist skill and you should only employ trusted professionals who have the specialist equipment. The parquet blocks used here are unfinished so that you get perfect square edges. They are then oiled after all other works are completed so that you get your perfect floor. There is no separate stair nose piece as the top layer of solid Oak is a good 4mm thick and this allows the fitters to create an accurate mitre join.

Furnitubes International Ltd

Brookfield is a recent acquisition that the University of Leicester is developing to offer supplementary and upgraded teaching facilities and office accommodation for support staff. Three separate seats were supplied, each comprising different radii modules that introduce a refreshing informality to the courtyard. The seating is further enhanced by the addition and informal placement of backrests, armrests and tablet surfaces.
