A wide variety of Frameless models were supplied including Barcelona, Rio and Cadiz shower enclosures. As well as the high performance that you would expect from a premium product, minimal design and accurate installation were essential for this project.

To help with the restoration project, he turned to Sadolin PV67 Heavy Duty Varnish and Sadolin Superdec after hearing glowing reports about the products. Merlin Griffiths, a well-known face in the drinks industry with appearances on TV screens and in the media, also owns a second pub in Kilburn, London.

The new 4-screen Everyman Cinema in the town centre of Altrincham was created by refurbishing a vacant former retail unit. Designed by Fusion DNA, the striking building envelope features Senior’s high-performance, fully capped SF52 aluminium curtain walling. With exceptional thermal efficiency and attractive slim sightlines, the SF52 system created a welcoming entrance to the venue and a bright and attractive interior for the first-floor bar and restaurant. The new cinema also features Senior’s robust SPW501 commercial aluminium doors, which are ideally suited to high traffic retail and leisure schemes.

Morgan Sindall approached Planet Partitioning to put together a cost proposal for all the internal demountable glazed screens, for the new five-storey Strathclyde Police Station on River East, in Dalmarnock, Glasgow. Working with Cooper Comer Architects and Morgan Sindall, Planet Partitioning used a combination of p100 double glazed partitioning and p20 single glazed partitioning and IsoClear glass doors for each office. Due to the sensitive nature of police work, the building needed very high levels of sound attenuation, exceeding 50 dB Rw between meeting rooms and offices.

The iconic Formica warehouse was first built in 1945 and needed a complete CAT A and B fit-out over 3 years. Planet Partitioning's northern division were perfectly placed to provide the partitioning screens and glass doors, for both the offices and warehouse. For the upstairs meeting rooms, acoustic was priority; both p54 and LOFT54 were recommended to Main Contractor, Sanderson, for the systems' impressive acoustic attenuation of up to 46dB Rw. Combined with SonoTec glazed doorsets, that achieve up to 42dB Rw, the system provided the privacy needed. For the corridors and warehouse, FireTec was used.

EB24 cottage pane style steel windows featuring the G+ system with a Fenestra joint were chosen by the client to replicate and replace the original windows in this beautiful 1930s private residence. The open-sided loggia leads out to the garden - Clement were able to manufacture this screen in the EB24 window system to match all other fenestration. The new EB24 windows to the feature stairwell window allow lots of light into the centre of the house. The original timber surrounds were in good condition throughout the property and so were retained by Clement to house the new steel windows.

DLA Architecture asked Planet Partitioning to put together a specification for the internal partitioning of their meeting rooms and offices as part of a Category B fit-out. Working with Triton Construction, Planet Partitioning used p20 frameless single glazing to create meeting rooms, offices and corridor screens over three floors. This included applying a striking coloured graphic across the partitioning and installing glazed doors with a walnut timber surround. After project completion, Planet was asked to add extra partitioning to create more offices and to put together a specification for a new building in Leeds.

A landmark in the regeneration of Spitalfields,The Steward Building is situated within the historically and architecturally interesting Artillery Passage Conservation Area.The site required the highest quality stainless steel louvre as a street front cladding, providing ventilation and visual screening, on two elevations of a prime office development.The design, which was developed by Lang+Fulton, featured recessed supports for the panels and incorporated a sliding door with concealed gate hardware to achieve a seamless aesthetic.The louvred panels were made from DeltaBox/SS-90 a pressure locked stainless steel product.

Before the installation of the Liberty Switch system could begin, a sub-floor was constructed using timber battens to provide a completely level surface onto which the pre-manufactured Liberty Switch base panels, complete with the drives and control mechanism were installed. The Harlequin Liberty top panels were then laid and locked into place, finally being topped with a Harlequin Studio vinyl floor. The whole system is operated via a master control unit using a simple touch screen placed on the wall of the room which enables rapid transformation.

O1A Architects oversaw the conversion of a former Gordon Ramsay restaurant in Islington into two luxury town houses with roof gardens and many unique features. O1A chose DRU Metro 100XT/2 corner gas fires for the main living areas in the properties. They utilise the balanced flue system to be flexibly located anywhere in the building without the need for a chimney. False chimneybreasts have been created in each property to house the impressive log-effect fireplaces. They also accommodate the flat screen TVs making perfect focal points and conceal the concentric flues, which exit the building through the roof.

Material quality was of paramount importance to all parties, and steelwork was finished in a specialist bronze coating in keeping with this high-profile site in the heart of Westminster. The scheme presented the further challenge of being delivered during the 2020 Covid lockdown, with Furnitubes’ installation works conducted under strict health and safety controls. The redeveloped site opened to the public in autumn 2020.

We supplied and installed our Spectrum nylon-coated balustrades with glass infills and Neatdek aluminium decking with alternate inserts on every balcony. Frosted glass screens were also supplied between balconies to provide an element of privacy for the occupants. A spokesperson from ENGIE says, “Neaco offered an excellent service from start to finish. They had the task of designing and installing their product to the existing structural steel which they carried out with very few issues and all modifications were handled by the teams promptly and efficiently, so that our programme was maintained throughout. Overall, the service provided was outstanding”.

That’s why BAM asked Planet to put together the specification for a new four-storey teaching and learning facility and a four-storey office building at Glasgow’s Southern General Hospital. Planet worked with Boswell Mitchell Johnston, using p20 single glazed demountable partitioning and Eclipse sliding doors to create laboratories and offices. Several atrium glass screens also feature throughout the building. The glass partitioning was kept in place using a frameless, fire-resistant, hardwood system, spray-painted to match the other aluminium framework.

Uxbridge's largest ever luxury commercial space is a monumental 324,630 sq ft. Planet was approached by dn-a architecture and Bowmer and Kirkland with the task of designing and installing a five-story central atrium with additional fire-solutions. Planet offered a streamlined design to ensure a stunning appearance with a time-conscious installation. P20XL was used with 40dB Rw toughened laminated glass for the atrium.This helped create the 100-meter long 'street' that ran along the heart of the building. FireStop E30 single-glazed partitioning screens, with FireTec doorsets and automated sliding doors were also installed.

Planet designed and installed a combination of framed and frameless p20 single glazed demountable partitioning and p100 double glazed partitioning in the offices, meeting and lecture rooms, helping to meet strict sound attenuation requirements. Single and double glazed doors and several fire-rated screens feature throughout the building, alongside fire-rated and non fire-rated partitioning.

University Arms Hotel, the oldest hotel in Cambridge, dates from the 1840s when it first opened as a coaching inn. Extensions followed in the 1930s an 1960s; but in 2013 John Simpson Architects began returning cohesion and grandeur to the building. The aim was 190 bedrooms boasting 5-star luxury. We were proud to be awarded the 14-month contract to design, supply and install 300 timber box sash windows, 50 balcony French doors, and 28 curved-on-plan sash windows. We also produced large bespoke entrance screens, and undertook the restoration of leaded light glass.

Planet installed p100 double glazed partitioning system with a frosted glass decal pattern for visual contrast. Several offices run parallel to the laboratories and Planet used p20 for a slim-lined glass separation. A fantastic alternative to slim framed office partitioning, LOFT20 was used throughout the interior, from meeting rooms, to the break-out spaces.Where fire rated partitioning screens and doors were needed, FireClear was the obvious solution, being fully compatible with LOFT20. Achieving E30 fire rating, FireClear had mullions and transoms applied, in the same width and colour as LOFT20, to provide seamless integration throughout the design.

The new development near Izmir is characterized by the urban structure of a gated apartment complex with 168 units with floor areas ranging from 180 to 480 square meters. The wooden folding sliding shutters feature HAWA Frontfold 20 hardware which bathes the rooms in light when open. When closed, they offer an effective screen delicately integrated to protect from the sun and provide privacy.

A busy facility, Netherfield medical centre recently contracted Style to design and install moveable wall solutions that would allow both the reception area and staff room to be quickly divided into smaller working spaces, as required. Transforming the use of the facilities, the two Stylefold folding walls allow the rooms to be divided at a moment’s notice, opening-up options as to how the internal space is utilised. With 46dB Rw acoustics, the walls create an effective screen, offering privacy when in situ. Intensely practical, both walls have a clinical white thermopal finish, complementing the modern interior of the medical centre.

Green Park Station provides access to the Jubilee, Piccadilly and Victoria Lines. The £60 million refurbishment to achieve step-free access included a copper canopy, a Portland stone entrance and a ramp from the ticket hall into the Park featuring green wall screening. Lang+Fulton designed and supplied 300sqm of panels to clad the raked inner facade of both retaining walls and the tapered wall-heads, which would support the green wall planting. The panels were made to custom sizes from Terra-34 grating and fixed with varying lengths of bracket to accommodate the stepped areas in the walls.

Opened in late February, The Whitby’s position called for higher acoustic attenuation, so Crittall MW40 fenestration was selected.
