Abu Dhabi International Airport’s Midfield Terminal Complex (MTC) is set to be the largest airport terminal under one roof. The airport is spread over a vast area of 34,4 km2, and this development will dramatically increase passenger capacity to over 30 million. Terminal spaces of this size have to withstand high temperatures in the event of fire, and with major foot traffic, floor coverings and walls must be hard-wearing, hygienic and offer outstanding aesthetic appeal. For protective and powder coatings, to ensure the project was first-class right from the start, the specifiers turned to Jotun.

The International Rugby Experience in the Georgian Quarter in Limerick, which is in honour of the worldwide game of Rugby, combines culture with pleasure and is a real visitor experience. It was particularly important to the architects and builders that thebuilding fits perfectly into the traditional cityscape: To guarantee authenticity, historical town houses in the traditional Georgian style were studied in advance. The architectural style was implemented in detail, using brick and concrete elements in the interior and exterior of the building.Lindner Group won its first major hollow floor project in Ireland with the contract for this floor trade. In collaboration with the architects from Níall McLaughlin Architects and the Irish business partner Cableplan, Lindner supplied the FLOOR and more® G40hollow floor. The special feature is the clinker bricks, typical of the Georgian style, which were laid on the floor system using a special laying method. Lindner also implemented access hatches in the floor for quick access and easy maintenance. Upon the architect's request, these flooring had a Satin Brush Finishing.

Furnitubes provisioned a number of AKRI raised planter beds for the scheme, the flexibility of the product permitted the creation of a unique stepped solution that was required at specific intervals in the planter to allow for the various changes in levels. A total of 26 meters of AKRI retaining walls were provided in heights of 670mm to accommodate the stepped solution, each planter comprising two internal soil retaining supports to provide increased strength to retain the contents. A return fold with additional anti-skates outlined the rim of the planters to maximise strength and not form a potential harmful edge.

Seen on all street entrances and internal staircases, AATi type SN93/SL3/140 + SN93/SL3/280 cast metal anti-slip stair nosings are featured throughout and also include London Underground corporate Blue anti-slip resin inserts.

A covered walkway guides and protects passengers as they walk from the car park to airport terminal.

Modern timber seating provides a focal point in the grounds of this new build academy.

Due to a reduced site, the design focused on creating a unique volume with an internal street to separate its two functions and link the project to its urban environment . Natural light was used as an element of the design, providing comfortable spaces for both patients and the medical team . The International Rugby Experience is a new cultural institution and visitor experience to honour the worldwide game of rugby.Niall McLaughlin Architects specified BASWA Phon for its ability to conform to the complex curved design and excellent acoustic performance. The marble plaster acoustic finish was tinted to a bespoke colour and matched to the red bricks used in the project. Over 600 square metres of BASWA Phon was used throughout the project, expertly installed by QT Interiors of Ireland.

Ahmarra's Residential Door Range includes secure internal apartment entrance doorsets that offer dual security and fire certification – providing peace of mind that the people, property and assets within the building are protected from opportunist thieves, vandalism and attack, as well as fire. This high security fire door was designed and manufactured for a sheltered housing complex.Certified under the Q-Mark Enhanced Security scheme, the doorset is Secured By Design (SBD) approved and meets PAS 24: 2016 standards. Also certified under the Q-Mark Fire Door Manufacture scheme, it is FD30 fire rated to BS 476 Pt. 22.

For these headquarters based in Barcelona, a former industrial site was reformed, to adapt the structure to the brand needs . The architect explains that “understanding the design of the interior spaces [was] an important element of branding capable of generat [ing ] brand value”, according to Stefano Colli .On the big glazed façades, Premium Plus roller blinds are used with a Polyscreen ® 403 in Slate color . They are in tune with the brand colors and style, and also they provide optimal solar management . Aluminum Venetian blinds in Smokey Grey finish are used for the internal glassed partition to provide intimacy in working spaces . Both systems cover the sunlight management needs as well as they turn into a key decorative item .

Alghanim International Planetarium Kuwait City, KuwaitCultural Innovations was appointed in 2013 to develop the vision, content and exhibition design for the world’s largest cultural project - the Sheikh Abdullah Al Salem Cultural Centre.As part of this project, a Planetarium was designed which incorporated our 3D Tetris acoustic panels, which were specifically designed to follow the curvature of the building.Using their wealth of experience in museums, culture, science and attractions development, the Cultural Innovations team curated a modern and immersive series of museums with enormous breadth, not constrained by existing collections, which delivered content and experiences that are directly relevant to the people of Kuwait. Opened in 2018 on a 13-hectare site in the Al-Sha’ab district of Kuwait City, the cultural centre includes the Natural History Museum, Science and Technology Museum, Arabic Islamic Science Museum and Space Museum.Using leading-edge technology, immersive environments, large-scale models and compelling interactivity across all four museums, the Sheikh Abdullah Al Salam Cultural Centre provides an exciting range of attractions as well as a fresh new learning approach for Kuwaitis.To deliver this landmark project Cultural Innovations worked in collaboration with architects SSH Design and contractors Alghanim International and Beck Interiors. The museum complex houses 23 galleries in over 22,000 square metres, presenting over 800 exhibits and experiences. To deliver the project a team of over 140 people, with 30 content specialists focused on interpretation and content development, and 25 exhibition designers with additional expertise for graphics, lighting and audio-visual development. Our extensive range of experts were assembled from universities, zoos, botanic gardens, museums and organisations such as the European Space Agency to provide advice and to ensure scientific facts and interpretation are correct.

Sadolin Superdec helped set the tone for a major arts event in Manchester, which featured a vibrant display of colour. The product was used to create the perfect platform for Festival Square, the ‘home in the heart of the city’ for the Manchester International Festival (MIF). Picnic benches, bars and DJ booths which popped up in the vicinity were coated with a range of colours from the Sadolin Superdec range, creating an on-trend backdrop, supporting MIF’s position as one of the world’s most dynamic and respected arts festivals.
